How to I get to the New Champagne Hotel?
The CONTACT US page contains a simplified map of Taiping. You should be able to find us easily whether you are approaching Taiping from either Ipoh, Penang or from the South.
Do you have a restaurant?
There are a large number of great places to eat in Taiping. Our favourite is the Soon Lee Seafood Restaurant. It has great food, is good value and is right opposite the Hotel. If we had our own quality restaurant, it would mean we would have to pass the costs of running it on to our guests. No Restaurant = Lower room rates. |

Do you have a Car Park?
The Hotel has it's own car park and there is also ample parking along the road outside.
Can I bring my dog / cat / goldfish / elephant?
The New Champagne Hotel operates a "No Pets" policy.
How far is the hotel from the Lake Gardens?
The Lake Gardens are just a few minutes walk from the Hotel. Driving is not necessary.
How far is the hotel from the centre of Taiping?
The middle of Taiping is also within easy walking distance.
Do you have security guards?
We operate 24 hour security.
Do all your rooms have Air Conditioning?
All rooms have air conditioning.
Do all your rooms have Bathrooms with showers?
All rooms have their own bathroom that incorporates a hot shower.
Do all your rooms have a TV?
All rooms not only have a television, but also Astro channels.
How do I know the direction of Mecca?
All rooms have an arrow that indicates the direction of Mecca.
Is there a Mosque (Masjid) in Taiping?
Yes. It is easy to find and is situated on Jalan Masjid.
Can the hotel wash my clothes for me?
The New Champagne Hotel has a laundry service. Please ask at reception for details.
What is Checking Out time?
Checking Out time on the day of departure is 12:00.
Is drinking water available?
Hot and Cold drinking water is provided on request.
Is the hotel near Taiping Railway Station?
The New Champagne Hotel is on the opposite side of town from the Station. You may wish to use a Teksi to travel from the station to the Hotel.
Where can I eat?
There is an excellent seafood restaurant opposite the hotel.
